Philip has the most amazing way of riding "the edge" with his comments (he is so damned honest) and so far still not getting jailed. He is used to all this talk though. Like Bob Brown he is a bit of a zealot but also incorruptible. Sometimes it takes a zealot to get any change (for better or worse!)

He did, as I showed him the meetup app comment from you. He was fiery but rational, whereas one of the opposing speakers made several slanderous comments, to which Dr. Nitschke responded with admirable restraint. The moderator did a reasonable job and all parties got to say their piece but were kept on track.

Mostly amusing clash between dogmatic xtian speakers and Dr Philip Nitschke. The moderator did a good job keeping things on track but could have reined in a bit more promptly in a few cases.

ThanksgoingKeith.Did he remember me? He would reply to me personally7-10 years ago before Exit got big & Fiona (his "difficult & rather jealous partner) took over administering everything. At one workshop after some yrs I went up and re-introduced myself & he remembered my name straightway and chatted to me at length (I'd gone from dark black hair to dark blonde so was not so recognisable ).He's very generous with his time, not at all "starlike. Great guy - Did he crack any his dry jokes?

I'm a 10 year member of Exit but it's too early for me in the day so really pleased if some of you go as a result of my alerting Sydney Atheists. I adore St Philip - say hi to him from me if you get a chance, he's a great guy (fabulous sense of homour) -Monika Allan
