Hope you all enjoyed the sunshine this weekend!
I wanted to let you know about a second meetup group that I have set up "Self Mastery for Expatriates".
It's affiliated with my business which is why I have kept it completely separate from the Sydney Expat Connection meetup (which is a purely social club).
"Self Mastery for Expatriates" is all about helping people adapt successfully to living and working in new environments.
The aim is to help members:
- discover their inner-capabilities
- gain greater clarity and direction
- be more effective personally
- overcome relationship issues
- overcome the mental and practical obstacles that are holding them back and preventing progress
- set life/career goals and the action plans to see them succeed.
Over 60% of expats cite an 'inability to adapt' as the main reason for their premature resignation from jobs in Australia. To be happy, satisfied and on top of your game it's important to be clear on what you want whilst you're living here and know what you need to do to get it.
Our classes take place in two formats: as free, 30 minute conference-style telephone calls and monthly group gatherings - we will cover a different personal-development topic each time and the tone will always be light-hearted. As always, I am open to suggestions on topics that you would like to be covered.
If you think it might be something you'd be interested in then join us! The first free, tele-class is this Wednesday evening 7pm - 730pm.
