Calling all Sydney movie-making talent! The Sydney Film Industry Meetup Group is a collective of Professional, Semi-Professional and Amateur performers, film-makers and crew from all over Sydney. The purpose of our group is to share ideas, nurture talent and just get out there and make good films! Come to a local Film Industry Meetup to have fun and make friends with people on BOTH sides of the camera. Watch screenings, critique films, set up filming groups, match writers with directors, directors with cast and crew and much more. It's apparent we have some marvelous talent right here in Sydney - and bags of willpower to make something magical happen! We've had TEN enormously successful Meetups, we made a dozen shorts for Tropfest 2008, and now we are currently developing a sci-fi/mystery/thriller TV Series to be finished by Christmas 2009, and then complete a feature in 2010!
