Object_oriented features in Oracle and relational databases

  • Aug 28, 2014 · 6:00 PM
  • Sydney Mechanics’ School of Arts

Sorry for change in date folks but room was not available on that day.
I've confirmed a room for Thursday 28th, hope everyone will be available on that evening.  Everything else as before and below.

Dr. George Feuerlicht from UTS has agreed to present his talk on OO-use in an relational database, and some hints on how to further explore the extensive OO capabilities of Oracle databases.
This one would be useful for both Administrators and Developers as well as those who have to work in design of new systems.

This meetup is now confirmed.

Excellent meetup. It's amazing how much the OO features in Oracle have improved since the embrionary release 8. Learned a LOT and some very good ideas for further exploration.

There is no repeat of meetups, Rafael.
The next meeting will likely be around mid September depending on availability of the speaker, but it's an informal one. Then we'll have another meetup in October with technical content.
