This group is for those who wish to network, gain insight and share thoughts on storytelling and screenwriting. Some of us have attended screenwriting courses, others have a writer's background or interests from other related fields. If this sounds like you, please join us, attend our meetings ... and finish that yet to be produced screenplay!
We usually meet on Saturday afternoons for a film screening or a script workshop, and everybody is welcome, even if you don't have anything to show. The venue changes occasionally, but lately we have screened our films at SIFA in Randwick, and discussed scripts at ISA in Waterloo - and online.
Our group meetings run for about three hours, from 1pm until 4pm. Sometimes we run over, so set aside a little time afterwards if you don't want to miss anything.
If you are concerned about sharing your ideas, rest assured that whatever is discussed in the room stays in the room. Sharing your ideas and stories is a privilege and the group reflects that by respecting the rights of creators.
