Hi, I'm a software developer primarily utilising the Microsoft stack. Over the past 5 years or so I've been trying to get to grips with agile techniques to be a better dev. I believe I am making a good fist of it, but always wanting to get better :)
I'm interested in meeting fellow developers with the aim of us all improving. Very interested in agile techniques, esp. successful and pragmatic application of TDD, BDD, Scrum, Kanban in the workplace and dealing with the challenges presented by working in the real world. Also interested in investigating different approaches to solving problems. Would like to see something about new frameworks and languages, e.g. node, F#, NancyFx so I can compare and contrast with what I'm already using and comfortable.
Background in software development of various systems in various sectors. Microsoft stack. C#, .net, Entity Framework, WCF, WF, TDD. For more information, please refer to my linkedin profile at http://uk.linkedin.com/in/stephennewmanuk and I'll do my best to keep it up to date.
