Sewing Machine Savvy-Learn to use your sewing machine

While we could teach you all about how to use a sewing machine in general it would make more sense to teach you how to use your machine better. Our very own Rebecca will guide you through the basics in this hands on class. This class is limited to six people so we will be collecting payment upfront.

Skills to be learned:
How to thread your machine
How to insert the needle and bobbin
How to change out the feet
How to adjust thread tension
How to wind the bobbin

Materials required by student:
Home sewing machine with power cord, needle, machine sewing thread, scissors,
and an empty bobbin.

Rebecca was a great teacher, and I'm not scared of my sewing machine anymore. That is a miracle. Nice job.

Rebecca, I am sorry I missed it. I was swamped with work stuff this weekend.

Great idea! I am pretty good with my sewing machine, although I still get mixed up about tension. If anyone wants to take this class but doesn't have a machine yet, let me know, they can borrow mine!

Great class idea! I may be out of town then. Hopefully you will do it again soon.

If I end up getting a sewing machine before then (and if the class doesn't fill up first!), I'll be there! Cool to see this kind of thing.

Glad to see some sewing stuff. I am already comfortable with these tasks on my machine, but I look forward to future meetups on the subject.

Thanks Vernon. We are trying to build up our craft community. We do have a crafting night every Tuesday

We just grab a coffee and speak French. Some people have been coming every week for months... it creates a kind of warmth to the group.
