Is there an easy way to contact Andrew re: doing a 3D print for a rapid prototype product I want to develop?. I did a web search for 3D printers in Las Vegas, and found his name at : MakeXYZ.com

Great info. I've been struggling with my printer for the last 4 months and have finally gotten to the stage where I'm getting some decent prints. Some of the insight Andrew provided will take me to the next level. Presenting this material to such a wide audience, from newbies to guru-juniors like me is a challenge. I hope those seeking intro info about 3D printing got as much from the class as I did.

Andrew answered many of the questions I came with. I would have liked to have him printing something as he gave the presentation. Guess I can find a presentation online.

Ray, Thank you for your feedback! I've found that having the printer going during the class tends to distract the students, and I've stopped doing it for that reason. I'd be happy to continue to answer any questions you might have here or at [masked]!

I'm happy to see we'll have a full house tonight. I'll be passing around some printed example pieces, and I'd like to ask that folks try to make sure that they get all the way to the back, and into the waiting box. I've lost a few of my example objects over the last few classes, and it would be great to see them all make it home this time! Another thing for tonight's class specifically. Usually, I make every effort to stay as late as needed after class to answer every single question anyone might have. Tonight, unfortunately, we're going to need to end the class at about 8:30, which is about 10 minutes after the formal presentation, cutting Q&A time short a bit. Because of this, in order to ensure that you get any help you might need, I'll be arriving 45 minutes prior to the start of the class at 6:15, and will be able to talk to you about any questions you might have that might not otherwise be covered in the presentation. Do take advantage of this!
