Saturday Meetup - Eat pizza and check out the new space!

We finally got the keys to the new space!

Come check it out, and see what ideas we have for it, and share the ideas you have. And look at the shiny equipment that has already been delivered. :)

We are going to start building out the space over the next few weeks, so your feedback now would be really awesome. Also, anyone willing to help with setting up over the next few weeks would be welcome as well.

To celebrate, we will be ordering some pizza. Please RSVP here so we can get a rough idea of how much to order. Vegas streets should be going on as well if you want to check that out before/after.

Thanks, everyone who came out to check us out tonight. Be sure to sign up for our message board at!forum/synshop to keep up with the developments at the shop and help make our new building a home.

Excellent! This kind of facility is really needed to help develop the seeds of creativity and practical implementation of ideas for anyone who wants to take the time to work at their dreams. Very good way to encourage entrepreneurship, as well.

I know that the El Cortez has free parking on weekdays. I just called the security department at El Cortez about Saturday parking. This one guy actually had NO idea if they have free parking available on Saturday evenings. he seemed pretty confused as to their own Saturday parking policy. He said that IF they do charge for Saturdays, it would be 5 bucks. He told me to call back and talk to a particular person around 5:30, just to be sure. (I think I'll just bring an extra 5 bucks and see what happens.)

I'm coming from Southern Highlands, if someone needs a ride TO the place, let me know, I probably won't be able to take you home cause I may have to leave early (Sunday MS HackAThon) but maybe I can, let me know.

FYI, there is no parking at the building. Free parking is at the El Cortez garage at 7th/Ogden or on the street nearby. Here is a link to the City of LV Parking Division with PDF maps of where you can park.
