Join @DowntownRob at the phenomenal Vin De Syrah Spirit & Wine Parlor (@SyrahWineParlor) for the tWineUp Wine Tasting/Crush It! book signing -and- Big One Year Anniversary Party on Wednesday November 4th! The wine tasting at Syrah will include a flight of wines chosen by Adam Stemmler, Syrah's in-house wine enthusiast, and presented/discussed by Gary. After the wine tasting, Gary will be visiting with everyone and signing your book!
The afterparty will kick off around 9:30 or 10pm with DJ Smoove, on par with Syrah's usual amazing Wednesday night lineup of mixed music, and the full bar ready to serve you more wine or whatever elixir you desire.
I am also arranging a bunch of giveaways the night of... including dinner and wine packages, winery tour packages, and more.
I was able to arrange a much lower price than normally charged -- tickets are just $39 per person to cover the flight of wine and a personalized/signed copy of Gary's Crush It! book.

Thx everyone for coming down to Syrah. Had a great night. I had hoped for some different wines, and for Gary to do Q and A, but he was focused on tasting the wines and then signing books and meeting everyone. He stayed quite a while until the line at the table was gone, which was impressive. Hats off to Syrah for filling glasses rather quickly, esp for the # of people that had to be reached!

Christian Martin+1 guestThe wine selections for the tasting were poor. This sentiment seemed to be echoed by Gary Vaynerchuck and other guests. The venue was overcrowded which gave the impression that the organizers were more interested in making money rather than hosting a quality event. Standing elbow room is no way to enjoy a wine tasting.

Brian ConnellyVery cool event & Venue. I & others there would have liked to hear Gary Vee talk about the book at least briefly. While it was cool to be able to meet one-to-one with Gary, I think the group was a little large for that format.

Jenn Juckettwas good amount of people but confusing because we got 8 tix for only four wines, and the bartenders would only pour what gary was supposed to be talking about but he didn't get there until maybe an hour or more after event started. No big deal, but just kind of annoying. We still had a really good time.

Tom Benzing+2 guestsIf you are going to have a wine tasting you should have at least one good wine. I know it was donated by a supplier but it was NOT GOOD. Everyone in our party would have been happy to pay extra for something better to drink. Gary was very good and gracious. Having never met him before I was impressed. Looking forward to reading his book.

Rhianne Steins+1 guestVenue was cool; however, way too small for the number of people who RSVP'ed. It was standing room only for the majority of folks. Service was slow - they should have had more servers pouring wine for the number of RSVP's. As a result of the slow service, Gary did not have a chance to critique the cab, which was disappointing. Also did not have a chance to mingle and we could not get to him to sign our books.
