* Scotch tasting and premium cigar now available:
For this special night, I've arranged a very rare flight of The Macallan Scotch, featuring a tasting experience of the 12 Year, 15 Year, 17 Year, and 18 Year expressions from their collection (details at http://www.themacalla...) and pairing those perfectly with a premium cigar from Liberty Tobacco, the H. Upmann Corona, a smooth mild cigar with a creamy flavor. These will accompany a fine sampling of food from the San Diego Wine and Culinary Center, by special arrangement in partnership with Dining Out San Diego Magazine.
To experience all of the above, I've secured a superb price $20 per person. Liberty Tobacco will have a cigar bar set up, where you can choose additional cigars including Macanudo, Romeo Y Julieta, Padron, Montecristo, and other fine name brand cigars.

Betty Draper gives advice to her son Bobby... "Only boring people are bored." This is one gathering where you won't be bored - we're embracing one of our favorite TV shows Mad Men while imbibing our favorite elixirs in true Mad Men form. Not that you have to drink or smoke to join in the fun, but I'd hope you at least dress the part!
This tWineUp is renamed TwilixUp for this one, because instead of focusing just on wine, we're focusing on other joyful elixirs like Scotch, Whiskey, and Gin as well.
"Advertising is based on one thing, happiness.", Don Draper says... so come join some of your favorite people, or meet some new favorite people, and be happy drinking your favorite drink, or smoke your favorite cigar. I offer you a night of celebrating your favorite Mad Men character, in look, in attitude, or maybe both, and enjoy the night celebrating the real "truth in advertising".
We have some great sponsors for this special event:
- Liberty Tobacco (http://www.libertytob...) - Now in Del Mar, with a huge humidor in Kearny Mesa, serving San Diego since 1975.
- The Macallan (http://www.themacalla...) - The Finest Scotch since 1824 (and will make you rethink the brand of whisky that used to be your favorite!)
- San Diego Wine and Culinary Center (SDWCC) (http://www.sandiegowi...) - A great venue to enjoy while sipping your favorite beverage with both indoor and outdoor firepit seating.
- Dining Out San Diego Magazine (http://www.diningout....) - A big thanks to Josh Kopelman from Dining Out SD for helping with this event. His magazine covers all things food related, has great articles on the foodie scene, with the best part being the photos of food porn - I don't read it for the articles. ;-)
Parking Information: The SDWCC is located at the base of the Harbor Club Towers, with Morton's Steakhouse on one side (J St) and the SDWCC on the other side (closest to Harbor Dr.), with parking available at 2nd and J St, or perhaps just valet with Morton's if you like. Street parking is free after 6pm in any metered spots, yellow or green curbs included. Do not park near Red, White, or Blue curbs.

The $20 Scotch tasting and cigar is optional, there are wines by the glass and other options available. :-)
