Chad Ruin - special guest speaker - monthly meeting

Tacoma Filmmakers Monthly Meetup

Special guest speaker:  Chad Ruin

Chad Ruin is a multi-talented filmmaker from Tacoma. His past work includes Writer/Director of "A Perfect Life," currently in distribution through Echelon Studios. He recently Optioned a script to a Exxperience Everything Productions entitled Man of Perdition, about notorious Wild West outlaw, John Wesley Hardin, surviving the harsh wilderness of a landscape 20 years after a zombie apocalypse has all but wiped out the west he knew. Ruin is currently working on a new project entitled "Death Rattle" which he hopes to begin filming next year.

Doyle's Public House   6:30pm

Doyle's is a traditional Irish pub with real Irish stouts and ales, and excellent fare. We'll be located in the "Snug" alcove toward the back on the left, across from the restrooms.  Due to room size restrictions we are limiting the meetup to just 20 attendees, so RSVP early. If you can't make it please update your RSVP. (Due to the space restriction members who often RSVP but don't show will be removed from the meetup to make room for others.)

Looking forward to seeing you all there!

I'm glad I called you, David, cuz I was confused by the radio show in that room also. I am glad we were able to move next door, because I *really* enjoyed Chad's talk. And the nachos at Harmon have real brisket beef. That was awesome.

Theres been an unfortunate mixup with our room reservation so weve moved next door to the Harmon Brewhouse. Look for us at the long table.

We just grab a coffee and speak French. Some people have been coming every week for months... it creates a kind of warmth to the group.
