Stocks that aren't in the the top 40 do advance and make profits. The difference is probabilities. Stocks in the top 40 are MORE likely to advance consistently then those that aren't. Our watch list isn't limited to only the Top 40 Industry Groups. Industry groups cycle and economic conditions change- some groups come into favor, some fall out. If a stock has great fundamentals then it is worthy of being on our list. Before buying it , it must still form a proper base. Then it must be monitored closely for any signs of weakness since the probability of success isn't as strong.

Iliked the meeting and thought it was informative. however i thought we were suppose to look for winners in the top 40 groups and have them in our watch list. Harold Koenig

Market is now under pressure with our today's distribution. Watch how your leading stocks are acting and how they will act in the coming days. And start a watch list during this time too.

Thumbs up to Heather and John for an excellent and well organized meetup. I appreciate the time and energy they put into it. It was the best IBD meetup I have been to with the good attendance adding to the energy. It was very informative. Thank you Heather and John and everyone that attended. I will give it 5 stars.

We had a good turnout with so many nice people!! We had many great questions! It was fantastic how everyone participated! There was an incredible variety of experience in the room and it was wonderful to have so many share their ideas! We’ll be posting files from the meetup throughout the week so keep an eye out for them. A very special thanks to all the kind souls that helped us put the chairs and tables away! ;-)

There was SO much great information at the meeting! As a new trader, a lot of the information was a little over my head, but I still learned a lot and enjoyed the presenters and meeting the other participants. Fantastic slides and preparation done by John and Heather - I'm impressed at all of the work they put into this. I also found some of the other participants' comments and feedback very helpful. I especially appreciated Ed's "nugget" that "if you sell a stock at a 7 or 8% loss, then you should be happy that your system worked, if not, you may not be psychologically ready to trade." That was a great take-away for me. Thanks, John and Heather!
