Chinese New Year Party

Join us in celebrating our 34th Annual Chinese New Year Party...The Year of the Dragon! Food...Beverages...Tai Chi demos...Free DVD to all who attend! Everyone welcome. You'll have the opportunity to observe different aspects of Tai Chi being demonstrated, as well as participate in some of the exercises. The Dragon is a creature of myth and legend. In ancient China, the celestial Dragon represents an emperor and power. Today, it is the ultimate auspicious symbol signifying success and happiness. Let's start the year on a great positive note. We look forward to seeing you and your friends at our party!

Had a wonderful time at the Chinese New Year Party. There was plenty of good food and drinks. Several Tai Chi demos were performed and visitors were able to participate including, Meditation, Chi Kung, Tai Chi Forms, Push Hands, Two-person Fighting Form and Tai Chi Sword Form. Also, had a terrific musical interlude with a piano and violin performance. Looking forward to our 35th Annual Chinese New Year Party in 2013! Our next meeting will be Friday March 30, 2012 focusing on Chi Kung Healing Exercises. Hope to see you all there.

This 2012 Year of the Dragon Chinese New Year Party was a blast! Fantastic demos of chi kung and tai chi. Nicola Briggs did a sword form to music that could have been on the Broadway stage. Connected with kung fu friends and family some of whom I havent seen in months others in years! Food and drink were plentifull and delicious. Thank you Sifu Domingo for yet another great Meetup event. Looking forward to the 3/30 Chi Kung seminar and getting back to class weekly myself in this new year. Job and family have taken of course first priority, but things seem to be lightening up for me in 2012. Sincerely, Chuck Vollmoeller - A gratefull student

Each year has its own special flavor. This year was multi-cultural as well as multi-musical. Enough demos to keep it interesting, and not so many as to feel like a lecture instead of a party. Wonderful party and great way to kick-off the Year of the Dragon.
