I've just come across an article on the health benefits from the March issue of the Reader's Digest. According to two recent studies, Taichi proven to be 4 times as effective at cutting pain from arthritis than a traditional stretching-focused regimen for arthritis, and it also doubled the improvement in tasks such as walking and getting up from a chair.
