Please wear adequate footwear and bring trail snacks and plenty of water for you and your dog. Elizabeth will be hosting this Meetup. This will be a moderate hike: approximately 7 miles total (out and back) with a cumulative elevation gain of 1100 feet (most of which comes on the return). Hike time for 7 miles should take average hikers approximately 3.5 hours.

A description of the hike from Bill, a previous host: "After topping Marshall Saddle we'll hike down the Wilderness of Rocks Trail to a park-like grove of stately pines. Although we will not be venturing as far as Lemmon Pools, we should be able to find a good swimming hole for the dogs near one of the Lemmon Creek crossings."

We will meet at Marshall Gulch Picnic Area past Summerhaven (approximately 26 miles after you begin climbing on Mt Lemmon Hwy). Please plan on arriving 10-15 minutes early so we can start on time.

It was fantastic meeting all of you and your doggies! It was a beautiful hike with lots of water for the dogs to traverse and play in. Thanks Elizabeth for coordinating!

Thanks Elizabeth, it was a great trip. Nice to meet Jen, Lindsey and Kelly, and of course Sam, Chance, Bodhi, Jasper, and (I forgot his name but Sarah said it was "Jet".)

And it was good to know that none of the dogs were "having intercourse" - Sarah won't think it's funny that I posted that....

We are aware that Sunday is Easter and there will not be no more of a crowded place outside of churches then Mount Lemon? Parking opportunites will be close to zero. Just a heads up, good luck. Camped this week in Gardener Canyon and hiked to the top of Mount Baldy with my three dogs. Awesome. As I left today, Wednesday, camp grounds were all ready begining to fill.

I decided to start Reno Motorcycle Riders Group because I wanted to be part of a group of people who enjoyed my passion... I was excited and nervous. Our group has grown by leaps and bounds. I never thought it would be this big.
