Please wear adequate footwear and bring trail snacks and plenty of water for you and your dog. Abe will be hosting this event.

A description of the hike from Abe: "2.5 miles drive up Mt Lemmon this trail climbs into a canyon. Flowers are just starting to pop. Brassy Jones Blazingstar, scented Bigelow Ragged Rock Flower and Bristleheads bloom here. 4 miles to the top.  Must cross the road to access the trailhead so be sure to bring a leash."

Catalina Highway was closed so we took Agua Caliente instead. Few flowers this spring but brittlebush is in full bloom. Some delphinium, bahia, Desert Chicory, bladderpod, dalias, phacelia and Cream Cups.

How long do you think the hike will take? I don't work till the afternoon but I wanted to be sure I had enough time.

2-3 hours. It's an out and back so you can turn around at any time.

I updated the description. We did run into water on Bug Spring last weekend which surprised me.
