May After Meeting

Unwind & Snack with fellow thinkers 1 mile east, on Dale Mabry.

If you have a preference, please post: (B&N), (Chilis), or *** someplace new ***.

No preference? No post.

We sometimes alternate between someplace to eat and Barnes & Noble.   (but, B&N closes too early for This group.)

This was my first afterglow, and it is aptly named. It was wonderful to visit with people and get to know them better.

Fun conversations, enjoyed the after meeting. Does get too loud to hear; that's from all the conversations even though no music. The pub next door was still open when we left. Didn't check on the noise level there.

Dale 1891 is also an option, they serve food, are local, and are open to midnite on Mondays. They are in the same shopping center as Mimi's, just south of Barnes & Noble on Dale Mabry. Specials every day: Don't miss out on our homemade Beer Mac & Cheese Mondays with your choice of Buffalo Chicken or Bacon only for 5.99!

Next door she's talking World of Beer, they don't serve food but will get it for you from Chili's...

Tired of Chili's, loud and nothing special. I'd vote for Brew Pub just to try something new.

but, yeah, what a bummer it closes at 10pm--------- cuz, by the time folks are done lingering over the parking lot chats,
and amble over to the pubs, get seated, and get their drink=it turns 10 pm too soon!!
      Time to go!

but I also like locally owned places too,
but for bigger groups, sure, I "can" do a "chain" (some do make some tasty stuff, and most offer Heart-Healthy options)
just to be with the thinkers there.
To me, it's mostly about The Others at the table and the chance to hear what they Think...

Uhm, in my last post here, I meant that it is too bad that "BREWPUB" closes at 10pm (i did not mean chilis----they Are open later)

There is a blood drive at Chili's Friday. You get a free movie ticket and a $5 coupon for Chili's.

I keep vying for the Brew Pub....
If it ever happens there or anywhere that's local and not a chain monstrosity, I'll be there.

Aw brent, don't be a sore loser. Chili's was not particularly loud. No one else complained it ws loud.
No spasms here, nope, not a one. Just plain ol math suggests taking a large group to a fast food joint like PDQ with nailed down tiny tables is not the most logical choice. Despite your love of fast food Brent, not everyone else likes it. Your freedom to eat fast food burgers is intact, go for it. Just maybe we don't want to go where there is No OTHER option except only fast food.

(Lol, that childish name calling says more about you, not me...didn't realize you were still taking it THAT hard

I'm planning on being in town for that one and Chilis sounds good. Is there a Denny's there? I'm getting mixed up which cities have which restaurants now.

I decided to start Reno Motorcycle Riders Group because I wanted to be part of a group of people who enjoyed my passion... I was excited and nervous. Our group has grown by leaps and bounds. I never thought it would be this big.
