I always find that without good definitions that the issue with most conversations is there is no common foundation to work to solve problems from.

The St. Pete-Atheists Free-Thought Group is self selected group of freethinkers who enjoy discussing controversial topics. The big bang controversy you touched on is championed in a 1991 book by Eric J Lerner and had been discussed a few years ago with some open minded critical thinking. Anything reasonably imaginable is fair game for discussion but religious dogma is never acceptable as unquestioned proof. Welcome to the group.
