RE: Walking on land
DT: Late Devonian Period, 375 mya
It has come to my attention that certain among our brother fishes, not content to walk about in the shallows on their peculiarly shaped front fins, are now spending increasing amounts of time beyond the habitable zone of the water. I am referring, of course, to Tiktaalik roseae.
Clearly, this is unacceptable behavior. First, it's unnatural. If God had meant us to gulp air, he wouldn't have given us gills. Second, who are these Tiktaalik
to set themselves above the rest of us? Surely, this air gulping and walking about is an affront to the very notion of equality among fish.
We need to put a stop to this evolution business RIGHT NOW.
