RE: [new-tampa-philosophers] Fukuyama's Transhumanism

I am glad I joined this group. The false assumptions he discussed after,
"Our good characteristics are intimately connected to our bad ones:" really
stood out to me. Since this point has already been addressed I'll leave it
alone. But I just want to say hi to all of you. I'm just starting to study
philosophy now so I really look forward to all of your insight!

Cheers!
Chris

PS I welcome the new bio-technology frontiers that our medical scientists
are blazing and I currently have no moral objection to participating in the
expedited evolution of our species.

Subject: [new-tampa-philosophers] Fukuyama's Transhumanism

The limited group of Thinkers on Facebook are not replying, so I figured
I'll ask here: so, the most vocal opponent of transhumanism is Francis
Fukuyama. Though I myself disagree with him on this, I would like to hear
other opinions on his position. Please, take a look at his article on this
topic and let me know if you agree or see any
flaws:http://www.foreig...
