Welcome to the first PHP meetup of 2009!

This one will be similar to other meetups we have had in the past, and will change your life and make you rich.

Well, maybe not but at least your applications will work.

See you there!

I waited and waited for 10 minutes and no one showed to open the door. It was about 10 minutes after 7 when I left. A few cars were their waiting and then left before I did. I also had the address right. Very disappointed about how this went for my first time and only time. :(

    •  Good meeting and nice people. This was my first meeting so I didn't really know what to expect. The topics covered were more about the group and the direction of the group more so than specific PHP topics (although we did cover some). I am interested in getting direction on working with frameworks, OOP, and cutting edge presentation for my sites. I hope I can be of value to the group but I certainly am no expert in PHP.
    •  It felt like progress. We spent some quality time deciding what we (as the group) are going to do in the future. Discussed some technologies to utilize to make the meetups more available, and decided on a direction to move towards to provide needed tools to the group.
    •  I waited and waited for 10 minutes and no one showed to open the door. It was about 10 minutes after 7 when I left. A few people were their waiting for someone to unlock the door and then left before I did. I also had the address right. I don't know what happened, but I'm very disappointed about how this went for my first time and only time. :(
