Helios, backend services for iOS apps

Craig Clayton will be presenting on Helios.

In this talk we are going to go over Helios which is an open-source framework that provides essential backend services for iOS apps, from data synchronization and push notifications to in-app purchases and passbook integration. It allows developers to get a client-server app up-and-running in just a few minutes, and seamlessly incorporate functionality as necessary. I will also do a project setup demo during this talk.

ATTENTION: This talk will contain both Tampa Ruby Brigade & Suncoast iOS since the talk is about both sides. For those of you getting into iOS this is a great place to start.

I'm not an iOS or app developer (yet) but it was good to see ruby being used this way.

Going to the Tampa Go meet up... If the wrap up early I assume I'm still welcome to crash?

Had to change my RSVP. Turns out I'll be in Colorado learning to snowboard and co-working with some other GitHubbers. Sorry to miss it though, was looking forward to it.

I can't make it, but this sounds pretty useful! I searched but couldn't find it anywhere online. Is it on Github?
