Dr. David McKalip presents "Faces of Government Medicine"
This event is sponsored by the South Pinellas 9.12 Patriots. There is seating for 200 and they already have over 50 people signed up from their group. They have invited us to join them.
Guest speaker Dr. David McKalip, a private practice brain and spine surgeon in St. Petersburg, will give us an update on the current status of health system reform proposals. His presentation will include a 30-minute DVD entitled "Faces of Government Medicine" and a question and answer session.
Dr. McKalip serves as chairman for the Council on Medical Economics for the Florida Medical Association and led the effort to write a health system reform plan for the FMA that focuses on individual financial empowerment of patients. President-elect of the Pinellas County Medical Association and President of the Florida Neurosurgical Society, he serves on the Florida Delegation to the American Medical Association's key policy-making body.
Dr. McKalip founded Doctors for Patient Freedom and is working to ensure that individual savings, choice and competition create better and more affordable medical care for Americans.

JeanineDr McKalip is an informed and interesting speaker. I wish that he had more time to speak and that there had been a question and answer period. I hope that our forum in Tampa will provide for this. The American Legion and the St Pete group were very gracious to us all and did a great job in organizing this event. Many thanks!

Every American should be informed about what is going on behind Pelosi's closed door. Our only hope is to convince all members of Congress that they will not be reelected if they vote for socialized medicine, as there is no chance of a filibuster stopping this train wreck.
