Suggest a better Health Care Reform than the currently proposed ONE PAYER OPTION!
Instead of introducing a massive government-run health care plan, tell your congress persons:
- Enact legislation giving families control of their health care by making insurance plans portable,

- Reform the tax system to allow the same tax incentives for all insurance purchasers (employers and the self employed should be able to deduct healthcare expenses),
- Reform the litigation system to decrease inappropriate malpractice and liability claims against all facets of the medical profession and industry in order to reduce costs.
- Allow the free market to deliver real competition.

Many of us are committed to supporting the fight for genuine access to affordable, quality healthcare for every American. The time has come to create a balanced, common sense approach that will guarantee that Americans receive the care they deserve and which will still protect the sacred doctor-patient relationship. We will oppose any system run by politicians or bureaucrats granted the right to deny citizens and physicians the treatments they believe are in a patient’s best interest. And we demand that the government clean its house of billions of waste, fraud and abuse to fund the necessary changes.

If you have not seen some of the town halls happening around America, please visit the following URLs and see how people / patriots are coming out to protest:

I just went down to my Congress womens office Kathy Castor (D) 11th distrect Florida 813-871-2817 and even thou she is hiding and refuses to do a face to face town hall meeting I told her receptionist that I was not happy with the DNC attacking American citizens for giving there opinion. I also called the DNC office and let them have it to. 202-863-8000. I think the DNC just woke up the sleeping giant with this attack

There are four or five other groups in the area that will have members attending this Townhall as well as many concerned citizens. Needless to say the staged SEIU, Progressive Democrats and Healthcare Now members will be there, but the Democrats will spin it to say that their concerned constituents are only staged right wing extremist. They will never admit that 73% of their very constituents are concerned and even angry about their lack of representation for the people. Blind to the facts.

I think the loud passion displayed in these meetings is what gets them press. Obviously we shouldn't start a riot, but at the same time you don't want to sit there quietly the whole time. It's only natural to cheer someone on if they said something you like and boo them if you disagree. The real tea party was not "calm." These are liberals we are dealing with here. They respond to emotions more than they do reasoned logic. When they see anger, they worry about keeping their job next year.

Freedom loving patriots celebrated liberty by knocking down a disabled woman and starting a fist fight with someone. I feel sorry for the people who went there to learn, whether it was to support or criticize. Too bad they weren't allowed to speak.

Well it was nice meeting you This was my first meetup. But as far as the townhall meeting. OMG Was it an eye opener not only for me but my son. He's still fuming *S* Being placed at the end of the line after being before the Acorn people and Obama supporters was a real eye opener.

Debbie And I left once Castor said she was turning this meeting over to the healthcare panel of experts and all we saw were the experts from Acorn That's when we left and quite a few others.

I have a lot of video of the events as they took place in the hallway of the event. WOW! Totally unreal. Violence sort of broke out, and talk about disrespect. Thugs totally roughed up one man, which again....I have video of the whole incident.

What a Joke!! Where was all the News coverage? Why else would they hold it at such a small venue? If they had held it somewhere larger we Patriots would have outnumbered them by 98%. They should have been selling the Universal Healthcare to us but instead they preached to the lemmings who have already drank the Kool Aid. VOTE HER OUT!! VOTE THEM ALL OUT!! It was great to meet all of you Patriots and we look forward to more events and meetings. Hopefully we'll be more organized next time.

I just saw a piece from Fox News who did the event justice. They said as many as 1500 hundred were there! I knew it was much more than RSVP'd but I do not think it was 1500. But we did have a PRESENCE. Ask Fox to put it on their website if you were not able to see it.

I got there at 6:45 and they were not letting anybody in. It was still great to see so many people actively protesting this thing outside. All the Obamatons must have been on the inside because everyone outside seemed to be against it. I heard Kathy ran out before the Q&A even started. I was talking to the guy that got roughed up by the union thugs and he was being interviewed by all the news crews and the police, so at least maybe the public might get to see who the real thugs are.

Was the Fox piece a fair representation of this meeting? Because I have to say that while I think it's great that many people are attending these townhalls to voice their opinions, the piece showed a lady repeatedly yelling at Rep. Castor to "READ THE BILL" and not letting her talk.

I think people should let everybody talk and have a bit of patience so that as many people as possible can ask questions. In my opinion, this opposition in that meeting was not represented well (I wasn't there)

All went well with this meeting until we found out that they let a bunch of Castor/Reed supporters in the other door. Then a group of about 15 pro-Obama people showed up and the language and shouting started. They came pushing and screaming throught the crowd like an angry mob. But it was nice, we outnumbered them and they did nt have an answer for anything you would ask them except to shout you down. We are on the road to taking our country back. See you in D.C.

I think it's important to attend these meetings regardless of weather you get in or not. It's not like these politicians are going to say anything we don't arleady know. The politicians need to see our numbers and hear our anger, even if it's just through a window or when running out the door to their car. The media also covers the crowd outside as well, so we get seen on TV even when not in the actual meeting. Just being there helps our numbers grow for the next event.

I happened to be one of the ones able to sneak in and blend in with all the SEIU/FCAN, It was pretty easy to blend in, I just had to look lost and un-intellegent. By the time the general public was allowed in, we were briefed on how to handle those opposed to the bill. Pretty Funny stuff if you consider the best they can do is put a sucker up to your face. What did they think we would do if we couldnt ask Castor any questions? I would love to see how Kathy Castor reports to Pelosi on this.

I seen Kathy Castor zooming away in her getaway car about 6:45. How cowardly. Dems/Repubs are so out of touch with America.
---I've seen articles referring Tampa 9-12 as right wingers...blah, blah, blah. Well you "bloggers" and so called reporters: I voted for Castor because she voted no for the Bush bailout (like a blue dog). After reading every bill she's voted on and tonight's experience.....Castor lost my vote for next election.

I was one of the lucky ones to get inside (only because they thought I was with SEIU). They shut the door behind me leaving my good friend and fellow patriot to be second in line. He had to stand out there for a good 30 mins., while they (SEIU) let their cohorts in the back door. Once they did open the doors, we clearly dominated the room with our presence. Castor got up there and lied, and was shouted down by passionate patriots. We then were subjected to a parade of people trying to brainwash us into believing that the gov't should run our healthcare. Then guess who decides to leave? Yes Castor left before any of us had the chance to ask her questions. Our fellow patriots stood outside, covering the windows with their signs and flags. I did get a picture of Castor in front of the windows with the Do Not Tread On Me flag behind her. Will upload as soon as I get the proper cable. God bless all for being there. Please do not give up! We must increase the pressure!

I believe a lot of people had their eyes opened wide at the meeting, including the opposition. We can expect a G8 type response to our people next time. Before the meeting I told my 12year old daughter that this would most likely be the only be the she would be able to go to because I expect things to get rougher in the future. The naked aggression toward our people, especially the older folks, when the crowd was thinning out was something to see, Union Thugs. Thank goodness TPD was there in force at the end. Good Job TPD. <<<<<CASTOR MUST GO>>>>>

The hall was pre-filled with supporters for the healthcare initiative. People were lined up all around the block outside the building that could not get in. Room was 250 capacity and I don't know how many of those might have been 912rs. We definitely outnumbered the supporters. News crews were all there...everyone had signs and/or chanted "Just Say No" or "Read the Bill", etc.and were pretty well behaved. There was one report of two supporters coming out of the building after one of our guys and beating him pretty badly. I saw no police activity or arrests, though. Kathy Castor left out a back door after about 30 minutes I'm told (we were out front.) Good turnout!!! Keep up the good work troops! They can't ignore us forever; especially as our numbers grow.

I was able to distribute about 3000 of the new 9-12 business cards in packs of 50. Every one of the government healthcare protesters was thrilled to take them and said they would distribute them on their own. These cards have got Senator and Representative contact information on the back, and 9-12 contact on the front. It is obvious that we had the numbers, but our timing was too late, in that the pro Obamacare shills stacked the house early, and prevented the protester from getting in.

The meeting was Staged by SEIU/FCAN and the other left wing extreme. I happened to sneak into the meeting room and blend in, to witness the stageing and instructions on how to handle anyone that would oppose the bill. It was also evident that most of the people were planted inside the meeting room, before opened to the public. I watched as large groups were brought into the back door to fill seats. Most of the folks who had questions were not allowed in and was kept outside. Kath Castor spoke , but didnt take questions. I would guess that there were approx. 1000-2000 people there which seemed to be a two third oppose ratio to the Health care bill.

The congressmen (Kathy Castor) left the Reform Town Hall meeting early and did not take any questions. The unions were let in before the LITTLE PEOPLE were let in. THis was not a Town Hall Meeting. The agenda for the meeting was more of a we are going to tell you what you need to known about Health CARE AND THE HELL WITH YOU. If this is how Town Hall meeting are going to be conducted in the future, It is not worth going. This is duck and run politics. I can't wait to see this politician voted out of office and see if she gets the message then!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! The union members, who were at the meeting have no idea what is going on in Washington. I educated myself before I came to this meeting so I could ask question that I wanted to ask and the politician duck out because she didn't want to take the heat.
  • Scott C.
It was absolutely unBULLievable. Those of us opposed to government health care outnumbered the supporters by at least 20 to 1. The room had a max capacity of 235 but from what I could tell, only about 50 or so of the general public (us) were let in. The room had to have been mostly full with the pre-selected supporters before the doors were open to the public. Kathy Castor gave a short speech, then had her panel tell a few stories and then she left before a single question from the audience was asked. The meeting was run and managed by SEIU and other union members. Union thugs provided "security" by pushing people out of the room and shutting the doors so the people outside could not hear or participate. Tempers flared in the lobby when they shut the doors. I understand the anger but some of it was not productive and will surely be used against us. Kathy Castor should be ashamed for conducting this SHAM of a "Town Hall Meeting". She had no intention of listening to anyone.

People of like-minds were passionate while maintaining civility and dignity. The same is somewhat true of the folks who didn't agree with us and I am happy to announce that I am aware of no "incidents." I am certainly glad the "others" behaved themselves since I was entirely confident we would.

I have lots, and lots of video of the event. Including the violence that did occur in the hallway to the event. I will not only be posting it on 9/12 group site, but I do intend to send to Glenn Beck as well. We did not start this....as the video will show. And at the end of the incident, no police action was taken against the goons who roughed this guy up. None! Fox 13 had taken a video of my video, via their camera pointed onto mine, and other networks then interviewed me as well, about the incident. Unbelievable.

I think kathy got an earful. She looked like she didn't believe what she herself was saying. Great meet-up

The agenda was pre-arranged with the format intentionally formatted to prevent q&as being presented to Ms. Castor. Her presentation was totally scripted rhetoric designed to promote health care for all with strong criticism of health care and prescription companies. She was there to lecture not listen. The other guest speakers brought little value other than their own perspective. NO ONE spoke to the actual content of the proposed Health Care Reform Bills. Questions were read but not answered. As I look back on yesterday’s meeting, the presence of the 1500 people (as reported by the press and police) who showed up should indicate that Health Care Reform is a big issue at the local level. The meeting was well orchestrated by the Democratic Party, the SEIU and ACORN to prevent meaningful dialogue. It’s going to take a lot more than yesterday’s meeting to get Cathy Castor to vote differently.

Over 1,500 hard working Americans were there! The SEIU members did not silence our voices. There threats did not work. We the people will be heard!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
  • Alan Williamson
It was very poorly organized by the sponsors. It was very well attended by the 'average Joe (and Josephine)'. The crowd was polite, yet asseted thier opinions. The only "hope" I see in America is the growth of citizen involvement in letting the knuckleheads in gov't know we won't take it anymore! I brought a guest who said he would join the fight and recuit his family members.
  • Andy Demartini
The meeting was run by local politico's and government workers, all supporting the Democrat health care plan, no balance was even attempted. Security was provided by local union enforcers from the SEIU. They did a bad job and had to be buttressed by the Tampa Police after they started a fight at the door. The hall was mostly filled with union members who were let in a back door while the "citizens" were kept out. It seemed that half of the non-party people were denied admission to the room and had to watch through sealed windows. Rep. Castor spoke with not even the appearance of taking any questions, then fled the room protected by a group of union strongarm's. She left behind people who described themselves as ignorant of the details and they did not disappoint. They permitted people to ask questions but made no attempt to answer anyone.

I rated great because "our People" were out in force & would not be silenced. I felt as did many others that the people who got let in the room first & got the front seats, were part of the liberal group. Even though they tried the usual left wing" trickery", we outnumbered the Obamacare supporters; had to listen to all the usual talking points (most people tried their best to sit & observe (it wasn't easy). Anyway, when it was almost time for the audience to ask questions, Congresswoman, Caster had already left the building! That was when almost everyone who was not part of the Obamacare group, got up & left. Have to say my wife & I were glad we attended; met a lot of great people that we know we will meet with again. KEEP ON KEEPIN" ON!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! P.S. When we got home we found a form letter from Ms. Castor, telling us how she appreciated our attendance & was doing what was best for ALL AMERICANS!!!!!!!!!LOL P.S. Juat
