Glenn Beck at The Villages - RALLY!

Glenn Beck is having a Rally at the Lake Sumter Square (NOT @ Barnes & Noble) The Villages from 3:00PM - 7:00PM. Glenn said he will be making an announcement about his plans for 2010 at this Rally. What an exciting opportunity for all of us to hear his plan first!
More details will be posted as we find out more information. Let's give Glenn a BIG FLORIDA WELCOME! Bring your signs!

WE HAVE A C-O-N-V-O-Y The bus (Preston Motorcoach) will depart the I-275 and Bearss Ave. area at 11AM and will make a pass through at the Flying J Travel Plaza at I-75 and FL-52 at 11:30AM to meet-up with anyone wanting to join in the caravan. Look for the Tampa912 banner on the bus! Flying J Travel Plaza Address: 29933 FL-52., San Antonio, FL 33576 Flying J is on Northeast corner of the exit. Cars should be waiting and ready to go by 11:30am. The bus will only pass through. Decorate your cars!

I would love to join all of you at this very exciting meeting with Glenn.
However, we have another committment tomorrow with our granddaughter.
I made many phone calls and sent emails yesterday to Senators, Governor Crist and the Florida Medical Board regarding the health care bill.

Wendy+1 guestFantastic seeing Beck in person. I asked a cop how many people were there and he said 30,000. It didn't seem close to that to me. In DC they said tens of thousands but it seemed more like hundreds of thousands to me. I'm so excited to be part of creating the lifeboats!

Gail Meyer+1 guestRick and I drove to the Villages early and unfortunately, did not meet up with our 9-12 group. There must have been at least 5,000 people there! Glenn was fantastic and we look forward to participating in his plan to take our country back!

Philip Miller+6 guestsThought the rally was great! Clueless as to how man people were there as I was right near the stage; however leaving I could tell that the place was packed! To give you an idea how great I thought the meeting was, I and my brothers have already marked August 28th on our calendars and we plan to be in Washington, DC. I addition, today I'm going on line to sign my wife and I up for the training Glenn mentioned in Orlando on March 27th. Lastly with Healthcare passing last night, we're now going to have to do everything possible to get it withdrawn and with Glenn at the helm I think we have a chance.

DonnaWe went early expecting a crowd. The Villages is a great little town. I figured with traffic etcertera that he would be late. But it was worth it.

Natalie RobertsThere were about 5,000 people there. Maybe more, the sheriff helicopter took pictures and will confirm the number later. It was great. He signed my books and my shirt and sign. I can't wait till the next meerup with him in Orlando in March.

Marie BrownIt was standing room only and the big screens helped to see the stage. What a thrill to see Glenn Beck's tour book bus roll in, but especially thrilling was watching him walk through the crowd to the stage. You can feel the excitement through the crowd; people just love Glenn Beck. Glenn talked about an hour and my daughter and I are going to attend the first educational class in Orlando. What a great idea! Just before it ended, we took pictures at the tour bus to send to our family & friends. We just joined the Tampa 9-12 Project last week. Anyone can come and you'll never feel like a stranger. God Bless the American people. With God's help, we will make it happen. We want our country back where it belongs and that is to the people.

Wendell HockI would have liked the rally to last longer. It was a very impressive turnout and well organized. I have made a committment to myself to turn my own life around and help other people do the same. I specialize in financial education and there has never been a greater need for it than now. It starts one familiy at a time and it should start with your own. Thank goodness Glenn Beck took up the challenge and is taking the hits for us. Go GLENN!!!

LISA A.I met some wonderful people which made the wait well worth it. Glenn seems so sincere. Even after signing thousands of books he still shook each persons hand and looked you in the eye like he truly cares about you. There was between 25,000 & 35, 000 in attendence.

Louis MattioliParking was hard to find even 2 hrs before the event. Got separated from the bus at parking, than had a hard time finding anybody else from Tampa.

ValWe drove. Your directions were excellent, parking very good as we got there quite early. Brought our lunches and chairs and found a nice shady area. People around us were super friendly. Music great. Re: Glenn -- very inspiring, animated, full of hope and some advice. Hope he can guide us though this governmental mess. That said, we had a super time - even Charlie the sheltie had a blast!
