We try to avoid the same thirty-or-so "easy guitar" songs that seem to get beaten to death. There is an astounding number of wonderful songs from the soundtrack of our lives that are not really any harder to learn.  The method is to find what you like on Youtube, determine the key, get the lyrics, chord it like the original so you can play along with it or even do as karaoke. Include links and relevant info in your file then upload it to our files or print copies to share. Go to main menu "More" and click "Files" to start an upload. Look at what's there to see how we do things. We use themes to filter and select songs to present at each monthly jam but it's not absolute. The best ones are the ones we all know and like but never tried before!

We usually meet 1st Sunday at Clearwater Main Library on Osceola. They asked that we park on the lower level (west) lot. There is no cost to attend.  We have the big room (A-B) on the first floor across from the bookstore. Moving chairs is something no one wants to bother with so we just sit anywhere and take turns in the order of the sign up or walk in as the case may be, and leave it as we found it.

All music genres. All music eras. All musical instruments. Bring something you like to share.  Even though we are a small group, using this nametag app is quite helpful.  I'll be glad to share site privileges with anyone who wants to help run the events.
