Ukulele Workshops & Concert with the Flea Bitten Dawgs and Uncle Elvis!

Hone your performance skills with the almost legendary the Flea Bitten Dawgs and Uncle Elvis in this rare "mini uke festival" designed especially for members of the Tampa Bay Ukulele Society

Here's a run down of the workshops:

Rhythm Devils: Learn how to work different rhythms into your playing. Instructors: Thom Pallozola and Lee Kram.

Fun with Double Stops: Work with double stops to add intros and solos to give songs more depth. Instructor: Thom Pallozola.

Doing That First Open Mic: Secrets from a Master entertainer. Instructor: Mike Hind (aka Uncle Elvis).

After the workshops, enjoy a special closing concert with Flea Bitten Dawgs and Uncle Elvis playing together as a band with backing from Steve Boisen on bass

$20.00 for all three workshops and the concert.

NOTE: If you also plan to attend the concert at Grams Place on Saturday, February 22nd you can save money and attend both nights for $30.

I want to say also that spending so much time with David, Thom, Lee, and Mike this weekend was just such a rich experience, forging friendships, sharing music, and breaking bread. Gonna miss all of them. Thank goodness we have face book to keep us connected. JT did an awesome job of capturing the music for live stream, and Steve and Mar did a great job hosting the event. What a weekend.

I came home last night and worked on the tablature workshop. After 30 minutes it was getting smoother and I was thrilled that I could learn something new at my age. Double stops, now I know!

You think I'm kidding, I'm not, I have a used Makala Tenor that almost never leaves my side work, errands whatever lives in my truck for the most part and no I don't sleep with it, I sleep with my Kala.

I started the group because there wasn't any other type of group like this. I've met some great folks in the group who have become close friends and have also met some amazing business owners.
