The Tampa Bay Ukulele Society presents "open mic" at the Whistle Stop Grill

Ukulele Open Mic at the Whistle Stop Grill takes place on the fourth Thursday of every month from 7-10pm. The Whistle Stop is a casual, family-friendly place with outdoor dining and a full menu. Here is a link to their website: http://www.whistlestopgrill.com/. Be sure to sign up for the open mic when you arrive and have a few songs prepared. Players of all levels are welcome to perform in this supportive environment and I'll have my u-bass handy in case anyone would like some accompaniment.

We'll also resume our tradition of ending with an unplugged jam session, so be sure to bring your uke and the Daily Ukulele* songbook even if you don't plan on participating in the open mic.

Please don't forget to support our host venue by ordering something off the menu which features a great selection of drinks, appetizers and ice cream.

*The Daily Ukulele is not required and folks usually don't mind sharing, but if you'd like a copy you can order it online from Flea Market Music or pick one up at Sam Ash.

    Hey all,
Was in a front end car accident (totally not my fault) and no bones broken, but very sore. Ribs and shoulder hurt...can't play or sing yet. Will have to do my song next month.

    Bye for now,
    Teena

I decided to start Reno Motorcycle Riders Group because I wanted to be part of a group of people who enjoyed my passion... I was excited and nervous. Our group has grown by leaps and bounds. I never thought it would be this big.
