I've been playing for a few years now. I still feel like a beginner but I've definitely come a long way from where I started. I now suffer from a slight case of UAS (ukulele acquisition syndrome) so I now have 3 ukes: Kala Long-neck soprano, a Kala Ukadelic Día de los Muertos edition, and a new Kala Pocket Uke that I carry around with me for those times when you just have to strum or pick.
Open to anything! Island music (Hawaiian and Florida/Caribbean tropical), oldie goldies, and just about anything happy. Stuff that can be played in my hammock. Anything to help me escape the crazy world for a little while.
Concert & folk harp, piano, flute, oboe.
Maybe, once I learn more.
Yes, especially in the Apollo Beach/South Shore area.
Hi everyone! I've been playing music since I was little but I credit the uke for giving me my love of playing music back. I have met so many amazing musicians since becoming a uker. Best of all, I've smiled, laughed, & had the most fun doing it.
Hanging out with the TBUS is always a highlight of my week. I love the jam sessions and all the happy ukers! So happy that I found this great group of folks!
