I know you got offended... But a mall is private property owned by a
management company. I know you feel slighted, but that is what they tell the
security to do. As stated in a previous comment, they do not know who will show
up. They cannot accept any Liability if you get hurt, a patron gets hurt,
or anything of that nature.
Here is the good News! I have never been asked to leave public property...I
currently play at the beach, on a bench..people join in singing along...I have
even gone to parks...but I was politely asked to leave several private "open"
air malls and such...
Not worth the good energy chasing the bad, to "make it right" How
about organizing and going into the childrens hospital in your local area and do
some christmas carols?.. or just ask if you can go to the local childrens
hospital..or just organizing and doing something good.. play at a food drive..I
did that and folks dropping off the food were more apt to open their wallets and
even donated money to the food bank..right before the holidays is when they are
kind of at their lowest levels usually.
Just a few suggestions... and hey who wants to get trespassed for having
fun?
Strum every day and Smile!, Smile,
Smile!!
