What diet/lifestyle do you follow? For how long? Why?
I have been a vegan for 15 years. My husband started us on being vegetarian and then we made the transition to vegan 6 months later. We are currently raising our two daughters to be vegan too. The main reason I became vegan was because of the animals.
What types of activities are you interested in for this meetup?
Any and all. I didn't know this group existed. I am the person behind St. Pete Vegan Food Swap. Whoever posted my event on your page thank you.
What is your favorite local veg-friendly restaurant?
It was Grassroots but now it is Meze 119.
Besides veg*nism, what three issues are you most passionate about?
Organic gardening, community, and parenting.
