My husband and I have been eating vegetarian for 8 months, and most of that time have been low oil, low salt vegan. My reasons for starting this lifestyle were for health. I also love animals and since beginning this journey I keep running into fascinating stories about how animals have feelings, love their mates and children, protect each other and their group. There were only 3X I craved meat since I started Vegan eating and I found that when I took B12, I no longer wanted meat. I am very happy to no longer count myself as an omnivore. My next hurdle is to overcome my attachment to oil.
I'm interested in tasty organic, oil free, low salt, vegan recipes & menus - especially Pot-lucks. My husband and I are getting bored with our usual fare, and we would like to find more people who are Vegan.
Haven't found one yet. We just moved here recently for our business and we usually eat at home.
1. Using and educating others about Permaculture with the purpose of creating abundance for all. I filter all my choices through the three Permaculture ethics: Care of the Earth, Care of People, Share the Surplus. 2. Aesthetics - I want to live in a beautiful world 3. Health
I work with Grow Permaculture. Our major focus at this time is education, because we want everyone to be able to have the information we have. I want to meet others who are oil-free Vegan.
Haven't met anyone yet, but I love the pictures on this meet up site! Looking for ward to some potlucks!!
