Introduction
My 6th year teaching cooking classes for The Cancer Project. Also teach Eat Well on $4 a Day. 20 nice articles on my classes and winning age grp local 5K races. 18 years TV news, 2 Emmys. Love seeing students lose weight and meds so easily on plants
What diet/lifestyle do you follow? For how long? Why?
low fat vegan, eat raw as much as one can living between 2 fishing piers. ;) Half my life, mostly. Almost died of colon blockage at age 28, same year my sis got breast cancer. Most everyone else in my family now dead or diseased. Trying to beat odds
What types of activities are you interested in for this meetup?
probably just reading and writing for now...till the book is out.

Besides veg*nism, what three issues are you most passionate about?

Sounds great! What hospital? Sarasota Memorial? We always pass it when we have lunch at Tijauna Flats :) I had many classes last fall. I only have a couple this spring... some starting in May as well. I will call you to have lunch sometime. Good luck!
