Anthony Marr, is presently on his CARE (Compassion for Animals Road Expedition) Tour #7 around the U.S.A. and will be stopping in Florida for some vegan potluck and speaking events, and we've been asked to be his Tampa Bay hosts. Anthony will speak with regard to veganism, urgent environmental issues and animal rights concerns.

Anthony Marr is a world renown environmentalist and animal rights activist, has a degree in physics and is the author of 2 books on environmental issues. A wildlife preservationist since 1995, his work in India garnered him the title of "Champion of the Bengal Tiger" in the award-winning TV-documentary series "Champions of the Wild" which aired in 20 countries on the Discovery and National Geographic channels. He has also been to Japan, twice, for the whales and dolphins, and was recently honored with the title "Best All-Around Activist of 2010" by two top U.S. animal rights organizations. He has conducted several high-profile campaigns against the seal and grizzly bear hunts in Canada, deer culls and sea lion extermination in the US. Anthony has conducted 6 Compassion For Animals Road
Expeditions (CARE) with this being his 7th such tour.

Local groups have helped arrange these potlucks with lectures which offer a rare opportunity to get up-close and personal with this major force in the animal rights movement today. Anthony is a regular speaker at the annual Animal Rights Conference and will be presenting over 12 speeches there in
Washington D.C. this coming July. This is a chance for our group to meet him personally, hear his message, ask questions and enjoy a vegan meal together.
