Tampa Bloggers was created on April 30th 2008 as a means to fostering the growth of the Greater Tampa Bay Area social networking community. From Bloggers and beyond, the goal is simply to help gather and grow a group of like minded technology users.

Because this group does NOT have a direct focus on blogging, this meetup has been labled a 'TweetUp' - referencing the
free social networking and microblogging service Twitter.
