David Walker and The Comeback America Initiative

"For every minute that goes by, our federal government's financial sinkhole grows deeper by over ten million dollars."

Those are the words of David M. Walker, the founder and CEO of the Comeback America Initiative, a non-partisan group supported by people of all political perspectives to promote fiscal responsibility and sustainability at all levels of government.

Mr. Walker was the 7th Comptroller General of the United States, and head of the General Accounting Office for almost ten years [masked]).  He has been appointed to government responsibilities by three different presidents.  He is the subject of the acclaimed documentary "IOUSA", and was featured in the more recent documentary "Obama 2016".

A few of Walker's years during the Clinton/Gingrich era were our last to see a yearly surplus.  What he now sees apparently terrifies him.

On Friday, September 28th, Mr. Walker will be speaking as a guest of the Neeley School Of Business at the Brown Lupton Union Auditorium, 2901 Stadium Drive, Fort Worth, Tx.  His presentation begins at 5:00 p.m.  This is an opportunity to hear about our nation's financial condition from someone who has seen the situation from all sides.  The timing (5:00 p.m.) isn't great for those of us working to pay off the 10 million/minute deficit, but if you can slip away from work it'll be worth it.

Think about it - David Walker's presentation lasts for 90 minutes.  During his presentation, our deficit will increase by 900 million dollars.

Registration is required.

Go to this link, and under "Classification", register as a "Friend Of Neeley".  Unfortunately, the networking event afterwards isn't open to the general public.
