Fort Worth Gun Show

Come on out to the gun show and show your support for our alleged Second Amendment rights. Hours are 9am to 5pm on Saturday Here's a blurb about the show from the website
(http://www.ftworthgun...):
Visitors to the Original Fort Worth Gun Show will enjoy a huge selection of firearms, ammunition, shooting supplies and knives. Our dealers will have "direct from the factory" guns as well as pre-owned and collectibles. At the show you can buy, sell or trade. The gun show is more than just guns, you can also find a wide array of ammo, scopes, clips, reloading supplies and other accessories. There are concealed carry permit instructors from whom you can purchase an off-site approved course. We also have knife dealers, custom knife makers, knife-making supplies, personal defense items, militaria, cammo and western clothing. At the Original Fort Worth Gun Show you can find just about everything related to hunting and shooting, and a whole lot more! NOTICE You may bring your gun to the show - it must be unloaded, checked by the Fort Worth Police Officers at the entrance, and tied with a plastic tie. NO EXCEPTIONS - including concealed carry permit holders, the show is posted as such in accordance with Texas laws. HISTORY One of the first gun shows in the country, the Original Fort Worth Gun Show began in the early 70's. Originally, the gun show was put on by the Southside Optimist Club of Fort Worth and run for them by club member Bob Norman, Michelle's father. Over the years, the club chose to divest itself of the show. Michelle's father took over and continued producing it until his passing in 2005. Michelle grew up with the shows and has been involved with every one since the beginning. Tim has been with the shows since 1981.

Had a great time. Met other libertarians from Abilene, Springtown, and several lapsed members of the county party who were happy to see the county up and running again. Hopefully they will be coming back into the fold. Had a good visit with John Jones. Talked to a number of people and had a really good time.

Dale Boecker from Abilene! I thoroughly enjoyed our visit with the two fellows manning the booth today 15 Nov! We picked up some good information, brochures, bumper stickers, and especially making new friends! Hope Sunday is a fruitful day for you also!! Again, Thank you for spreading 'the word' about FREEDOM and the Libertarian philosophy!!

Wow! It was packed. I gave away more LP material than I've given away in all previous OPH tables combined! we have GOT to start making as many gun shows as possible...these folks are ripe for joining the LP. DALLAS folks: you have a gun show the weekend of Nov 29th (I think) you should seriously consider setting up an OPH booth there.
