HISTORY One of the first gun shows in the country, the Original Fort Worth Gun Show began in the early 70's. Originally, the gun show was put on by the Southside Optimist Club of Fort Worth and run for them by club member Bob Norman, Michelle's father. Over the years, the club chose to divest itself of the show. Michelle's father took over and continued producing it until his passing in 2005. Michelle grew up with the shows and has been involved with every one since the beginning. Tim has been with the shows since 1981.
