Experience the Rums of the Islands and America

RSVP and see all of the details: https://paulsrum.eventbrite.com "While the basic brands of rum are great in cocktails, rum is so much more than that! We're excited to bring an array of rums for you to taste - some whose profiles are bold and delicious (perfect for sipping) and others which would make any of your basic cocktails stand out. We'll be tasting Angostura rums: White Oak, 7 Year Rum, and 1919. This is the same brand that makes the renowned bitters and their rums have withstood the test of time. Years ago the Angostura distillery burnt down and, much later, in the rubble charred barrels were discovered. The 1919 was recreated to taste like the distillation they found in barrels marked with that year, which has been assumed to be the year in which those original barrels were distilled. We'll also be tasting Busted Barrel (both the silver and dark rums) which stands out in flavor and is unique as it's the first rum distilled in New Jersey since before prohibition! Don't let their origin fool you - this American rum easily rivals their island-made counterparts!

Our complimentary tastings are set up in a way that allows our guests to arrive at any point during the time period. The tastings are meant to be a fun, social, educational & tasty experience!"

We just grab a coffee and speak French. Some people have been coming every week for months... it creates a kind of warmth to the group.
