How to release a collection

Hi gang,

I've been a fan for a long time, and I've accumulated about 6 boxes of
books, magazines, etc. But I'm starting a new phase in my life, and
moving to Maui, so I need to release a lot of it. Obviously if things
are worth $$ I'd like $$, but generally I want to make sure they have a
good home. (Not all of it is worth $$, but it's all delightful.) I
tried going to Uncle Hugo's, but they offer very little $$ and don't
take a lot of the stuff, so now I'm leaning towards working with other
collectors directly.

I hope this isn't too spammy; obviously I'd love to connect with buyers
here, but it's actually a more general question - I'm wondering if my
fellow fans have any ideas about the best ways to release a collection
like this.

The contents include most Target, Virgin, and BBC books before 2005, as
well as some Big Finish CDs and a lot of Doctor Who magazines. If
you're directly interested in it, probably mailing me off-list would be
best.
