About the waiting lists and how they work

Hi all -

I'm thrilled once again to see the enthusiasm for the next meetup! And, as we're at capacity once again, I've been getting some questions about the waiting list and how it works.

It's basically this: it's all automatic. As soon as an RSVPd person changes his/her response to "no" the next person on the waiting list gets moved up. People who are on the waiting list as +1 or +2 etc. are cued below single attendees, so if a single person changes to "no" then a single person is moved up, and those with +x are moved up in order after that on a first come/first serve basis. It's basically how the meetup system is set up.

Right now there's a little flexibility, but not much.

I have been talking to Tracie at Merlin's Rest about what Merlin's space will really allow, so hopefully there will be good news on that next month.

Cheers!

Diana
