I am especially drawn to the interplay of architectural depth, layers, and contrasts of light and shadow Photography encourages deeper emotional vision that pierce boundaries which the naked eye alone does not see.

Some people are overpaying for their events and not getting the discounts they deserve. We don't want to cheat you out of your discounts.
OPEN TO ALL DATE: In events that have priorty RSVPs there will be an OPEN TO ALL DATE in the description. This is the date when the event becomes open to everyone in the group and the RSVP priority restriction gets lifted . Please pay attention to this date when making your reservation. We hate having to tell people no but we do need to respect the rights of the people who are financially supporting us. Without there supports we could not continue doing what we are doing.
Our events are tiered . To make it easier for you to understand I provided a basic description of each Event we do.
Meetups: -- When our event description starts with the word Meetup up consider this an all play Free events open to anyone who would like to come play. This can include things like Nature and urban photowalks , outdoor events like Hot air balloon launches, Hot Sams, polar plunges , Socials get togethers, museum and art exhibits, etc.
ONLINE CHALLENGE: Free and Open to everyone. The key word here is "ONLINE" this not a meetup. It is an online challenge to get you shooting and posting your work. Each month we will post a monthly online challenge on the first of the month. Throughout the month people will be expected to post their images. The winner is determined your votes in an online poll at the end of the Month. The winner receives a 18x12 print of their image. A duplicate of their image is printed and proudly displayed in the studio as the months contest winner.
Critique Night: Free and open to everyone. Critique nights are great nights of learning for all levels. Members are encouraged to bring 2 images to be critiqued by our mentor/instructor of the month. Unlike other camera clubs our critiques encourages feedback from the audience. They become more of a discussion. We try to have different instructors/mentors lead them every month. This helps to provide us with fresh views and feedback.
Lectures - Free to the upgraded members. After the "OPEN TO ALL DATE" it will be open to the general membership for a minimal fee. usually a 2 hour long presentation on a certain subject or artistic concepts and ideas that will help inspire you. May include special guest visitors as well.
Roundtables - Free to the upgraded membership after the "OPEN TO ALL DATE " it will be open to the general membership for a Minimal fee. This is a group discussion for sharing knowledge and questions on a certain topic. The discussion is guided by a TCPG mentor. Because this is a discussion it is very limited in seating. Only 6 at a time. It has grown very popular. There will always be a waitlist for these please sign up on the waitlist so you can get rolled into the next one. Please do not sign up for more than one of these a month. We would like to give everyone a chance. If you can't make it please release your seat so others can attend. If you have ideas for more roundtables please let me know. We are currently doing photoshop roundtables. If you want to lead a roundtable let us know we would be happy to talk to you.
Exclusive Lectures/Events: Limited seating upgraded members only. This is a free event that either has limited seating or lots of planning to it where administration wise it is better to keep it small. These events can be for places that we gain exclusive access to as well. Such as media passes to a sports event , access to a mansion or factory that normally does not allow photographers in or an event that takes a lot of planning like a Mock Wedding or outdoor TFP model shoot. It can also be an event where we get a chance to show our work for free. I am always looking for speakers and events . If you have ideas let me know.
Model shoot - Free and priority RSVP given to studio Members. After the "OPEN TO ALL DATE" it wil become a paid event for outdoor photographers and general membership. There will be a discounted fee for outdoor photographer. This is an in studio monthly artistic Trade for Pictures collaboration with models. Photographers are broken up into groups of 4 and asked to collaborate on a theme shoot. It allows us to play with studio lighting and posing while becoming more comfortable with giving art direction. We sometimes Incorporate Stylist and MUA's as well. As we grow in studio members this event may be offered serveral times a month to accommodate all studio members. Each studio member is entitled to one free session.
Workshops - paid event for everyone discounts given to upgraded membership . Reservations are first come first served. Workshops are more extensive than lectures instructors are prepared with agendas and outlines. They will dive deeper into subjects have handouts and often will provide hands on experience with shooting or image editing work.
Photography Tours - Paid events for every one. Discounts given to upgraded membership .
Reservations are first come first served.
Occasionally we will take you on tour for the weekend and offer workshops in hotels while shooting a certain venue. These tours usually start Friday evenings. We meet for dinner followed by a workshop given at the hotel. We shoot All day Saturday together. In the Evening we usually have dinner together then will do a critique at the hotel. Sunday We have a nice breakfast followed by more shooting . Participants are responsible for their own transportation , hotel and food expenses.
We do try to secure group discounts at the hotel and free breakfast whenever possible.
Waitlist - A waitlist is established when an event is filled. If spots open at the event we will manually
assign the seats. The priority given will go in order of membership type and time placed on the
list. We strongly suggest you put yourself on the waitlist if there is one. It helps us determine
the interest level in an event when planning.
The order of priority is as follows:
Studio members (time listed)
Outdoor Photographer (time listed)
General Member (time listed)
