Hi I'm Diane I joined because I wanted to get back into Photography and meet other creative people
Originally I joined the group to become a better photographer and expand my creative side. Since assuming the role that I did it has become so much more to me. I have made lots of new friendship and got to expand my leadership skills.
Children, Animals, Nature, Special moments , Strange things, Landscapes anything really. I am also very very intrigued by night photography and light painting and would like to get better at it.
I worked on my yearbook and high school newspaper many moons ago. My passion for it has been renewed recently and I have been exploring all the new technology ever since.
This is Petey - will I be seeing you tonight?
Hi Diane, Kindly forward my greetings and gratitude to Edmund Lee for the Free book on Lightroom. I really appreciate it.
Hi Diane, to answer your question, yes I am a fan of Jim Cockrum. Or at least I've listened to his advice. One of the only "gurus" of online sales that I found I can believe in.
Hey Diane, I'll be there! I'm not sure what to expect, or what things I could learn from this. But since I have engaged heavily in online buying and selling, I'm hopeful that I might learn a few tips & tricks. If nothing else, I have tidbits that I'm willing to share.
Not back in the states yet, but soon. I will be sure to stop by drag you to lunch when I get back. =)
Diane: The color Run is the first time I have signed up to attend a Meetup event. Unfortunately I will not be able to attend and was not sure the best way to notify you of my cancellation to Join/RSVP. Thanks.
Diane: I decided to sign up as it sounds very interesting. I have done gymnastics photography for our local on line newspaper to cover the two time state champion Northfield Raiders. I found that very challenging and went to a Canon 7D and f/2.8 70-200 L lens to try to stay out of the iso stratosphere, having to use very rapid shutter speeds in borderline lighting. This sounds easy compared to that, except for the lens and camera risk.
Thanks. See you Sat Eve. The shoot is Sun, right?
Hi Diane. I just wanted to thank you again for organizing the scavenger hunt. It was a lot of fun! I look forward to the next such event. In fact, here's a suggestion: how about some sort of animal hunt. Whom ever can shoot the most types of animals wins. The zoo is off limits. Perhaps hold it at the Arboretum on a "free" (no entrance fee) day. Or maybe at the Zoo but make it harder by each animal is identified by a riddle. Well, it's an idea.
Hi Diane, I guess that I was expecting an in-depth "Studio Arts" type presentation on "Photo Composition". The portion of the workshop that I attended started to go in that direction, but could've gone further I think. Respectfully, Mark.
Thanks, Diane, I'll keep that room in mind.
