Change of date information We had to change the date of the Meetup for November. Our Hosts Toni and Dax are playing in a major pool tournament that weekend and are not available for Hosting. We wish them luck and hope their teams win! You'll be able to hear all the great stories when we meet on the following Friday, and hopefully see their trophies! My apologies to anyone who could make it the normal 3rd Friday but cannot make it on the 26th. So, we will have the Meetup the following Friday, Nov. 26. I know its Thanksgiving weekend and this might be good. Since many people don’t have to work on Friday, they will be rested up and ready for a party! We will also change a few things to make it more interesting. Another Meetup group will be joining us. Its the "wear out, not rust out" Meetup group. They are a fun group and also, and always liven things up at out Meetups. Bring non-perishable food items to this Meetup date only, and Shooters will give you a 2for1 Pool Playing Pass. Let’s see how well we can help to fill up our local foodshelves! Shooters will also offer some specials on appetizers this Meetup. $5 one topping pizzas $5 select appetizers Happy Hour from 3 to 6 $1 off all bottles ($2.25 domestics), wine and flavored drinks (Bacardi Razz, Smirnoff Ice, etc.) $2 regular taps, $3 tall taps Next “Free Pool Lesson Saturday” is November 13 at 1pm
7pm to 8pm Free pool lessons. Specially geared for beginners and first level players, but advanced level players will get a lot out of these lessons too. Get answers to your questions about aiming, banking, cue ball control, stance, position play. Bring any questions you have, we will answer them. All skill levels are invited. Please indicate if you will be there for the lesson. If we have a large group for the lessons we will invite extra guest instructors to help out by creating more (smaller) groups. You will get extra attention during the lessons this way.
8pm to 12midnight. Twin City Pool Meetup. Get on a table and play! (Mixer) All skill levels welcome. We usually play randomly and switch off periodically so everyone gets a chance to meet everyone. Plenty of pool tables for everyone, no one waits. Daxs and Toni do a great job of mixing it up. Later, if anyone wants to participate, they divide into groups and play a fun little tournament. If you don’t want to play in the tournament, but just play pool and socialize, that’s OK too. $10 flat fee for the table rental from 8pm to 12. Join our Facebook Fan page and our email club to receive advanced notice of our special events.

Shooters is very happy to announce that an attempt to break the GUINNESS WORLD RECORD for MOST CONSECUTIVE HOURS PLAYED was accomplished by Scott Erdman at Shooters. He played 8-ball for 74 hours, beating the previous world record of 72 hours. During this time many friends of Scott and customers of Shooters stepped up to the table to help out in donating, and in playing Scott to help him establish the new Guinness World Record. Scott was required to play someone at all times with only a 5 minute break each hour. WOW! Congratulations to Scott for his determination, and for his support of the American Diabetes Association. All of us are very proud of Scotts accomplishment. You can see the Kare11 video review on our website at
