Concept Sample Images:

Presenter: Qing Zhao (http://www.silentwingsphotography.com/)

-Member of Fearless Photographers (The world's best and most creative wedding photographer association)

-UK "Wedding Select" International Listing of World's Best Wedding Photographers

PLEASE READ ALL OF THE DETAILS BELOW CAREFULLY BEFORE REGISTRATION, THANKS!

The hardest part of Portrait & Wedding photography is being able to see and capture the light. Exposure is an object easier to know, harder to master. Before you say you know it, think about the following questions:

-How many times you nailed the "correct" or "proper" exposure on the spot?

-How can you judge what is the "right" exposure?

-Do you know how to read the "histogram"? Shall we rely on it to judge our exposure?

-How to expose "properly" under various kinds of natural light situations?

-How to differentiate "proper" exposure from "under / over - exposure"?

If you have no idea about all or some of the above questions, you are welcomed to my 2nd basic workshop. I will guide you through these concepts and knowledge from a fresh new perspective and unique hands-on experience like possibly never before. We'll see the light on spot, shoot the beautiful model on spot, and judge the quality vs. quantity of light on spot. Also, a personal evaluation of your best shots after the session is also included.

This workshop is face to any elementary or middle level photographer. To attend this workshop, you need:

1. A DSLR with full-charged battery and /or backup battery if possible

2. A long-focal lens (I suggest to use[masked] /[masked], if you don't own one, bring the longest lens you have! We don't need any wide-angle lens!!!)

3. Memory cards

No tripod or flash and any other accessories are needed!

This workshop cost $25, which is due before the workshop. I need you to write down your email address before registration, and then a paypal invoice will be emailed to you for payment. Your seat will only be reserved after your making the payment. Note the location might be changed later depending on the real local weather condition. So please be prepared and pay attention to any changes of this workshop!!!

In any case you cancelled your seat before the workshop, you payment will not be refunded until another person takes your seat. If nobody takes it, your payment can be transferred to my next workshop.

When you made the registration, I suppose you have read the contents and agreed on the payment & refund policy above.

About Me:

I'm a professional wedding and portrait photographer based in NY capital region. Over the year, I trained myself to develop characteristic photojournalistic style and aims to create "Texture, Dimension and Mood" by enhancing the available light with my photographic subjects. Qing, will you be offering a second Exposure workshop as you did with the Intro to Wedding Photography workshop? I know that there were many on the waiting list for this one.

Please note, no matter outdoor or indoor, the use of light and exposure is the same. And according to the real weather condition, we may still be able to go outside of the lodge to take some outdoor shots. There is no technical difference of using the light between outdoor and indoor situations. If you have any questions, please feel free to contact me. Thank you :) ~~~

From the current weather report, it is highly probable to snow on Saturday, so I'm figuring out an indoor location to do this workshop. Stay tuned and an announcement will be released soon before the workshop~~~
