Studio Lighting w Speedlights Only

  • Jan 25, 2013 · 6:30 PM
  • This location is shown only to members

Don't have a lot of gear and studio strobes? I will go over 1, 2 and 3 light setups using just plain old battery powered Speedlights to make beautify portraits. What better time to master this right before the holidays.

I will provide a model and the gear, you need to bring your camera and a thirst for knowledge. You should be able to set your camera in manual, understand how to adjust your white balance, adjust ISO, shutter speeds and fStops to get the most out of this session. If this is all new, then just realize you will need a little extra time to catch up on your settings.

Always a pleasure to take a course with John. Great class size and it seemed like no matter your experience level, you would walk away having learned something. I was able to fine tune some skills and learn some new ones. It also challenged me to look at using flash differently and opened up some new possibilities. Great class, and I enjoyed meeting everyone.

I agree with you John, I think that the number of people at the meetup was just right. I walked out last night with a lot of new knowledge, not the least of which was how easy it was to work with the radio poppers.

I enjoyed the group a ton. With the smaller group size and great heat, the group relaxed and learned a lot. Great bunch of members both new and experienced.
