New meetup! Tea, Eat, Meet @ Knock Knock cafe, Little Bourke St

KNOCK KNOCK is a cafe that looks like a cottage that started to be renovated but never was. That's why it's so cool. Inside is a modern cafe but with many teapots & collectibles on the walls & elsewhere.
Outside there's a garden courtyard, with areas for refined tea drinkers & areas that look like a playground.

Join us for a cuppa or a brew & if sunny enjoy the outside areas, or the vibe & warmth inside if necessary
Cafe entrance is on Little Bourke St next to Goldie Place

I won't see msgs on meetup, please phone or text phone[masked]

Please change your rsvp now if unsure or if you can't attend.
You can alway rsvp later if your status changes & you can come.

Joke (bad will post better, i hope, than this one i found): Knock Knock Juicer. Juicer who? Ju serve tea with desert?

As it's a really nice day, & i found out from a friend going, that the mexican festival is on till 8pm (with live music), if some of you want to go there after the meetup. Also, at Myer there's a huge (& humorous) model of the mcg in lego a few of us can go via there for those who might be interested

With this many numbers we will probably sit in 3 sections outside, as there's a middle & lower sections.
If wanting to do something by yourself, before our meetup, there's a mexican festival at Fed Square.
Looks like i however will be going to the cafe earlier to sort out best seating options for 40 people!
I will be wearing a smiley badge & (may) have a sign with "meetup" on it. Or just ask anyone - it's likely anyone you speak to will be with meetup.
I don't have a smartphone, so number is 0402816644. After midday sunday i won't see any msgs on meetup. If you can't make it please change your rsvp, but there's also no need to post msg/apology if now not coming

Start time of meetup is now 1:45 (mainly to give time the cafe to setup for us, after lunchtime patrons). If you are hungry there's a good menu & of course cakes & treats.
So we can provide an accurate number to the cafe, if you cant make it or not sure if coming, please change your rsvp by Friday afternoon. You can re-rsvp closer to Sunday (if you're not sure now).
The forecast for Sunday is cloudy & sunny with a late shower. There's plenty of seating but only about 20 seats inside. The area they're planning to set-up is for us outside (much of outside areas are undercover, so we all can be undercover if need be. There's also a few cute places to sit that i expect some of you might go to)

Hi Chris and all tea folk, sounds like fun, but not in Vic on that date. All the best, and please drink a small cup of tea for me

this event listing (posted by me when i was organiser) was meant purely for suggestions (as anything in 'discussions' isn't often seen).
However, with appreciative thanks to some comments, i've now decided to turn this into a meetup. So we will do a meetup on Sunday 14th at Knock Knock cafe in the city - times to be confirmed
(some comments previously below were deleted as no longer relevant).

If you didn't see the email i sent to the people listed on the right, please rsvp to the new meetup posted (based on your suggestions), if you wish to attend the meetup this sunday.
(This post was here just to make it easy for ppl to suggest, as items in discussions are often missed).
Thanks for your suggestions - will try to do meetups for them

Hi all. I created this event so ppl would post suggestions. (posts in discussion are often missed). Thought i should post comment.
I do take note of all suggestions & will do a tea place (near Miss Marples) in Sassafras where u can book. And a tea house in the city. But might have to be (& will be in Jan) due to my work & unprecedented amount of pre-christmas meetups. I may try to do a weeknight (mon-wed) one in Dec if that suits rsvps. If anyone wants to co-host one (which allows me more flexibility) let me know.

Miss Marple's is great, but unfortunately they don't take bookings. Last two times I was there it was a 40 minute wait. (You put your name down, they tell you when to come back)

I just met Hannah from Mamor Chocolates a month or so ago and have been meaning to drop in. I like this suggestion. Can't wait to sample her tasty chocolate treats as well as drink fine tea.

I started the group because there wasn't any other type of group like this. I've met some great folks in the group who have become close friends and have also met some amazing business owners.
