The "Woo Hoo" 6th Anniversary Tea 'n Games Event #1

Yes, our Meetup is 6 years old and still strong!

Let's celebrate by:

1) Getting together at one of our beloved tea shops, Tea Emporium, new location at 369 Eglinton Ave. West (south side of Eglinton, west of Avenue Rd., just a few doors west of where this shop used to be located). Check the TTC web site or email member, Angini for how to get to this store via public transit. (Don't kill me, Angini, but you use that app so well! LOL!)

2) Eating cake shaped in a special way to match this event's pre-event topic -Another "Woo hoo"!)

3) Drinking fruit and/or flowered inspired teas or herbals (or whatever you fancy for the day).

4) Playing board games -- Please BYOG (Bring-Your-Own-Game) to play with others. I have a new one for us to try.

Of course, the jokes and tea sharing will abound. :)

Stay for the full time frame or drop-in for 15 minutes to say "hi" to other members and I. It will great to see you and celebrate the good times we have had and what is in store for the future!

Btw--Thanks to all of you who have supported me over the years! I appreciate and cherish each one of you. Toronto's tea lovers are the best!

Lisa, Did we win? When I got home I made 2 pitchers of ice-tea; green tea kumbacha-lime and the other black tea cherry flavoured. Yum

Thanks to everyone who came out today to celebrate our Meetup's 6th anniversary. The tea and games sharing was fabulous. I especially am grateful to all of you who dared out into the unknown and played my new game, Tribond. What an experience! Lillian--Please bring that Love game again--Hilarious. Graham--I hope you applied balm to all those bruises you now have for have a certain person be your partner. Who to think that such a sweet face could be such a sergeant! Lol. Next time, choose Marianne. Marianne--Thanks for being late with your tea swap contributions. You can be late anytime you have any extras of my favourite teas. Check out the pics, especially all 500 I took of Angini eating cake and being all happy in Toronto. :) Life is good...

Lisa, I may not be able to attend as I just found out my Uncle died, and a close friend's Mother died also. I would like to keep my RSVP as yes, however if I don't attend please don't hold it against me.

Congratulations, Lisa and all those who have helped organize events through the years! Quite a feat to pass the five-year mark with many more years to go, I am sure. Thank you for all your work in making this meetup group so enjoyable!

I love tea. I am very excited for the tea meetup this Sunday. My favorite teas are mountain green teas from China and high mountain oolong tea from Taiwan. I hope the weather will be nice.

I started the group because there wasn't any other type of group like this. I've met some great folks in the group who have become close friends and have also met some amazing business owners.
