Two fascinating products. I really liked them both.
FlixFit working out your clothes sizes via machine learning, from just two webcam pictures and your height. I described this to my wife and her reaction was "wooh can we invest? That's going to be massive"
Yogi showed an early version of applying Actionable Metrics to your Twitter interactions. The measure of success in your "friends", the people who engage with your tweets. The customer development described how they got to the problem/product of their product, the MVP and also their concierge based sign-up seemed to be play perfect Lean Startup methodology. The product gives three actionable metrics which you can use to keep your social media engagement healthy.
My crystal ball says two products both destined for great futures.

Hi, I'm new as well, just a quick question around the timings. Does the event start 6pm \ finish 9pm sharp? Or is it more informal with folks coming and going more casually.

I won't be able to make it this month unfortunately, although I am exciting about making the next one.

    Hi there,

This is my first time going and I don't know the science park that well. Is it in any particular building or room? Thanks.

Hi Ben, we generally meet near the cafe. You can park in the car park after 6:00 pm - ask reception for direction to Tech Wed Meet Up group. If reception are not available then make your way through the main set of doors and turn right - you will see us near the far end, with sticky label badges . Be great to see you there!

    Hi :-)
This is a bit of a long shot but thought I'd ask anyway. I work at the science park for a mental health service and have no techy skills but last week I had an app idea. I'm sure other people have thought about it and it may not even be possible but I received info about tech Wednesday via the BSPA bulletin this morning and wondered whether this would be somewhere I could come and ask about it?

    • Zen

Yep share the idea- be interested to help if its for the mental health area.
