Just a reminder that the monthly Tech Wednesday meetup is tomorrow, from 10am till midday in the e4f incubator kitchen.
If you've not been before, e4f is based at Birmingham Science Park Aston, right by Aston University : www.bsp-a.com/contact.
This month we are very pleased to have show and tells from :
Nymbol (led by Tech Wednesday regular Mark Steadman!) - http://nymbol.co.uk/
Nymbol connects digital content like text, photos, videos and apps with physical objects.
Add content and context to anything from museum pieces to used cars to new homes.
Crowd Control HQ - www.crowdcontrolhq.com/
CCHQ is a tool for anyone looking to effectively manage and plan their social media campaigns.
Hope to see you there for the talks, coffee and networking.
All Tech Wednesday attendees are also welcome to use the e4f hot-desking space or the Science Park cafe for the rest of day. e4f is home to around 50 innovative tech start-ups, and we provide space & support to help them launch, develop and grow. We have free and open wifi you can use and some communal meeting areas.
In other news, Python West Midlands are hosting a hackday on the 26th May at Coventry Technology Park, to kick off a new open source project for a charity called Evidence for Development (EfD). EfD wants to help people make better decisions about aid projects – at local and national level – by putting real data about the real situation in the hands of the people making the decisions.
